After completing your SHEA Telecommunications (SHEA stands for Safety, Health and Environmental Awareness) qualification, you will receive a SHEA Passport card used by operatives, supervisors and managers to gain operational site access across the telecoms sector.

Fully CSCS-accredited, with the famous hologram, this is a CSCS Card for those who work with telecoms.

Includes all material from the EUSR SHEA Core qualification, plus an additional, telecoms-specific module.

SHEA Telecommunications develops candidates' understanding of emergency response behaviours, the role of reporting, inspection and enforcement of health & safety in the workplace. It also develops an individual's understanding of the impact on employee and employer of both poor/improving health and safety in the workplace.

The course also covers the processes and procedures that must be followed to work safely in a range of common telecommunications work environments; this includes both public and private environments and creating a safe working environment through safe systems of work. The candidate will know what to do in the case of an emergency.

Course Process

SHEA Telecommunications is delivered within seven hours and comprises seven modules, each ending in a brief assessment.
Once the seven modules are passed, the course is complete.
A Virtual Card is available within three business days and it can be viewed on the Vircarda app.
A plastic card is available if needed and this usually arrives within five working days.

The construction and utilities sectors are, by their nature, dangerous environments. It is therefore vital that any assessments are completed neutrally and without direct support, to demonstrate sufficient understanding of the subject matter.

Steer clear of companies promising a 'guaranteed pass', as subsequent qualifications gained will be worthless.

Yes!

Launched in September 2024, to satisfy demand from candidates who wish to work towards their CSCS Green Card at any time, the L1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment (RQF) e-learning course is available to book now.

Resits are always permitted, but, depending on the qualification, may incur a fee.

Starting as a sole trader in November 2023, my courses quickly gained traction and I made the decision to upgrade to a Public Limited Company in January 2024.

Currently, I do not hire any staff to aid with the day-to-day running of Four Storey Training Limited, so all calls, messages and emails you receive are from me - and I teach all tutor-led courses.

Jon is an approachable tutor and he delivered to a (very) small class with ease and professionalism. Although the course is very basic I did need the card for site access reasons and I say job well done.
