After completing the SHEA Core (SHEA stands for Safety, Health and Environmental Awareness) qualification, candidates will receive a SHEA Passport card used by labourers and operatives to gain operational site access in utilities or construction.

Fully CSCS-accredited, with the famous hologram, this is the perfect option for those who need a CSCS Card in record time, without the need to sit a separate touch-screen exam.

SHEA Core was developed in collaboration with industry to provide a uniform approach to environmental, health and safety awareness training across the construction and utilities sectors, in line with Health and Safety Executive (HSE) guidelines.

  • Summary

  • Course Process

    SHEA Core is delivered within five hours and comprises six modules, each ending in a brief assessment.

    Once the six modules are passed, the course is complete.

    A Virtual Card is available within three business days and it can be viewed on the Vircarda app.

    A plastic card is available if needed and this usually arrives within five working days.

I cannot guarantee an outcome for any anyone undertaking a particular course.

The construction and utilities sectors are, by their nature, dangerous environments. It is therefore vital that any assessments are completed neutrally and without direct support, to demonstrate sufficient understanding of the subject matter.

Steer clear of companies promising a 'guaranteed pass', as subsequent qualifications gained will be worthless.

Yes!

Launched in September 2024, to satisfy demand from candidates who wish to work towards their CSCS Green Card at any time, the L1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment (RQF) e-learning course is available to book now.

Resits are always permitted, but, depending on the qualification, may incur a fee.

Starting as a sole trader in November 2023, my courses quickly gained traction and I made the decision to upgrade to a Public Limited Company in January 2024.

Currently, I do not hire any staff to aid with the day-to-day running of Four Storey Training Limited, so all calls, messages and emails you receive are from me - and I teach all tutor-led courses.
